Effective, supportive and caring counselling
Deciding to have counselling is a step that may be new to you or one you have taken before. Thinking about what may be concerning you, especially in COVID-19 times, I appreciate that not least of these may be finance. With this in mind, please do talk to me to discuss what you may be able to afford for your sessions as I really would like to be accessible to you.
As COVID-19 continues to affect our daily lives and you may be worried about attending counselling, I would like to reassure you that, when working face to face, social distancing and hygiene measures are firmly in place. I can also work via Zoom if you prefer this, please do not worry about the technology, I can support you with this so that we can make it a good experience.
Now I have mentioned some practical things that could be concerning you, I will tell you a bit about myself as I know it must be very difficult to choose a counsellor from a website or on line profiles. If choosing is too difficult from reading profiles, I would be very happy to have a brief chat over the phone as I would like to make things as easy as possible for you.
I am an experienced counsellor but I am also a warm, caring, compassionate person in everyday life and I feel these qualities are integral to my counselling work. I provide a quiet, contained space to really listen to what things are like for you. We will work together to develop your own understanding and meaning of what is going on for you so we can think about how you may wish to manage or change things.
My usual place of work is Beltinge, Herne Bay so I am very accessible from Thanet and the Canterbury and coastal areas.
The next tab will tell you a little bit more about me.
